Alberti’s Violins is a licensed, family owned and operated business in the Equestrian village called Wellington, Florida under the direction and ownership of Albert and Nora Genduso.
Albert is a 1972 Graduate of Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton Florida with a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts.
For the past 40 years, Albert holds the status of ‘Master’ in woodworking and cabinetry, working in the marine industry in custom yacht interiors.
Under the tutelage of Mittenwald German Master Violin Maker and Restorer, Horst Kloss, internationally renown for his work of the great violin collections of the world, including those of the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C., Albert has completed Master level course studies in violin restoration and brings those skills to ‘Alberti’s Violins.’
Because of our love of music and the high level of quality and skills brought to the business, Alberti’s Violins is quickly becoming the center of violin, viola, cello and bass repair in the South East Florida region.
As member of the “Violin Society of America” and the “Michigan Violin Makers Society”, we cater to both the young aspiring musician and the seasoned professional.
Our services include: Student and Intermediate level instruments and supplies, all of which are set up and adjusted in our studio, along with repairs and restoration of instruments and bows. From helping a student with a slipping peg to major restorations including: ‘Nicolas Amati’, Joseph Gagliano, Pietro Landolfi and most recently the violin of a fellow orchestra member who accidentally ran over her violin with a car, love patience and skill are reflected in all that we offer.
